Brothers - In - Arms: Kingsley Sokari Reveals Enyimba Defenders Will Take Care Of Roommate Emem Eduok
Published: November 23, 2014
Super Eagles invitee Kingsley Sokari has revealed that Enyimba are favourites to win the Federation Cup final on Sunday against Glo Premier League rivals Dolphins of Port Harcourt.
The 19 - year - old has cultural links to Rivers State and rejected overtures from Dolphins’ fierce rivals Sharks before appending his signature to a contract with Enyimba in 2013.
Temporally, Kingsley Sokari’s personal relationship with fellow Super Eagles invitee Emem Eduok will be put aside when both teams face off at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
“Emem Eduok is a good player, I know him well because he is my roommate in the Super Eagles. Enyimba defenders will take care of him,” Kingsley Sokari told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We are more hungry than Dolphins because we want to win the Federation Cup and use it to compensate our fans after failing to win the League.
“I am predicting that we will defeat Dolphins 2 - 0. ”
Remarkably, Kingsley Sokari, who models his game after Austin Okocha, only played grassroots football for Port Harcourt City FC and Orlando FC before he was snapped up by Enyimba last year.
