Published: November 28, 2014
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that Ajax Amsterdam are in talks with Tony Harris, the representative of Sad’eeq Yusuf, regarding a contract.
The midfielder will travel to Holland few days from now to begin training with the four times in a row Eredivisie champions, on the proviso that he receives positive feedback from the Dutch embassy here in Nigeria.
It is believed that Ajax Amsterdam were alerted to Sad’eeq Yusuf after a string of fine performances for famous nursery team, GBS Academy Jos, the same grassroots team that produced the likes of Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Abubakar Aliyu Ibrahim.
Marc Overmars, director of football at Ajax, is preparing to go all out to get the signature of the 18 - year - old after missing out on Moses Simon two summers back, a decision that the club are now regretting.
