Umar Aminu Disappears From Samsunspor
Published: November 28, 2014
Nigeria Under 20 international Umar Aminu has unilaterally terminated his contract with Samsunspor, citing the club’s refusal to honour financial obligations to his past team Wikki Tourists plus his unpaid wages.
After displaying his wares at the African Youth Championship, where he was the top goalscorer, and the Fifa Under 20s, Wikki Tourists struck a deal with the Red Lightning .
But it has been reported by the Turkish press that Samsunspor have failed to remit the 50,000 euros to their Nigerian counterparts.
Since November 25, Umar Aminu has not appeared in the practice sessions held by the club, and it is thought he has disappeared from the city after he was not found at home.
