FC Midtjylland Coach Riddersholm Defends Rilwan Hassan Over Red Card
Published: November 29, 2014
FC Midtjylland coach Glen Riddersholm has defended Rilwan Hassan in the wake of his sending off in the last league game against Aalborg, and has disclosed that he will not be disciplined internally.
It would be recalled that the manager had criticized the winger when he was expelled back in August when the table toppers clashed with Randers.
“It is not necessary to further talk besides the one we had Monday. Rilwan is sad, and there is no reason for punitive action.
“Rilwan is fortunately a happy boy. And when you have a bright mind, it is easier to get up and come back strong. He has shown before,” coach Glen Riddersholm told bold.dk.
Hassan will miss the game on Monday against FC Vestsjælland, but will return to action next Thursday for the Cup tie with Esbjerg.
