Two Nigeria internationals - Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa - have made the five - man shortlist for the African Football of the Year award. <br /><br />The Super Eagles stars must see off competition from current holder Yaya Toure of Manchester City, Asamoah Gyan (Al Ain, UAE) and Borussia Dortmund&rsquo;s Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang .<br /><br />Unfortunately, Mamelodi Sundowns winger Ejike Uzoenyi, the most outstanding player at the 2014 CHAN, failed to make the final cut&nbsp; for the African Player of the Year (Based in Africa).<br /><br />The winners of the awards will be known at a gala ceremony to be held in Lagos on January 8 next year.<br /><br />Ivory Coast national teamer Yaya Toure has won the African Player of the Year award three times in a row.<br /><br />Photo Credit: maccabi-tlv.co.il<br />
