Joseph Mbong Pleased To Make First Start For Hibernians
Published: December 03, 2014
Maltese - Nigerian striker Joseph Mbong was delighted to make his first start for Hibernians in the third round FA Trophy clash against St. George’s on Tuesday.
The Premier League team defeated their First Division opponents after netting twice in the first half.
“I am happy with the win, we had a good game. They defended a lot since we were the better team. I am happy to make my first start.
“It was not an easy game in the second half. The coach played so many youngsters and that is why the margin wasn’t higher,” says Joseph Mbong to allnigeriasoccer.com.
St. George’s defender Noah Ojuola lasted 42 minutes on the pitch before he was replaced by compatriot Gabriel Okechukwu.
