David Alaba Named Best Footballer In Austria Again

For the fourth year running, Bayern Munich wing - back David Alaba has been named the best footballer in Austria.
To scoop the award, the Austria international, who has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins, beat FC Salzburg duo Jonatan Soriano and Kevin Kampl.
“A huge thanks to the coaches who have voted for me. Of course this is something special for me, I am very happy about it, ” David Alaba said in a statement.
The 22 - year - old has registered his name on the score - sheet 8 times in 35 international appearances for Austria.
The Austrian Footballer of the Year was voted on by the 10 coaches in the Bundesliga.
