Utaka, Chrisantus Crash With Sivasspor

John Utaka and Macauley Chrisantus were both on the losing side when Sivasspor crashed 2-0 to Istanbul Basaksehir on Saturday.<br /><br />Utaka lasted 84 minutes, while Macauley was benched throughout the week 14 Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig match played at the 4 Eylul Stadi.<br /><br />The hosts early promise fizzled out, however, with chances few and far between for both sides in the opening half hour mark.<br /><br />Doka Madureira was given time to pick out the advancing Alexandru Epureanu who netted the first goal of the match in the 35th minute.<br /><br />In the second half, Sivasspor rarely looked like hauling themselves back into the tie and they were punished in the closing stages.<br /><br />Rajko Rotman found Jeremy Perbet with a well-worked throughball, and the forward prodded past Ertugrul Taskiran to put the match to bed in the 85th minute.<br /><br /><span class="notranslate"><br />Photo Credit: fifa.com</span><br />
