Shola Shodiya Ends Barren Run In Front Of Goal

In his second spell at Birkirkara, Shola Shodiya has finally opened his goal-scoring account for the Malta Premier League vice - champions.
And the former Boavista target did it in style by netting a brace on Sunday afternoon as Birkirkara defeated Qormi 2 - 0 at the National Stadium.
Shodiya first scored at the end of the first half, before making sure the Stripes will walk away with all three points with an insurance goal in the 90th minute.
The 23 - year - old spent 377 minutes on the pitch before he ended his barren run in front of goal .
Qormi strikers Alfred Effiong and Frank Temile were in action for the entire 90 minutes.
