Injury Rules Out Gbenga Arokoyo From Rizespor Clash

For this first time since his shift to Turkey, Gbenga Arokoyo failed to start a game for Gaziantepspor in the Super Lig, and did not make the 18 - man squad for their game with Rizespor on Monday night.
The out - of - favour Nigeria international sustained an injury in the penultimate round of matches, which made him sit out today’s encounter, having failed a late fitness test.
Gbenga Arokoyo had to make way for Carlos Costly, with 18 minutes remaining, on match day 13.
“I could not play today because I was injured in our last game. But it is not a serious injury, hopefully I will resume full training on Wednesday,” said Gbenga Arokoyo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 22 - year - old has been cautioned two times this season in the top tier.
