Jerry Mbakogu Scores Eleventh Goal Of The Season

In - form Nigerian striker Jerry Mbakogu netted for the third game in a row as Carpi thrashed Perugia 4 - 0 in the Serie B on Wednesday evening.
The 22 - year - old hit target in the 52nd minute at the Stadio Sandro Cabassi to take his tally for the season to 11 goals.
Prior to today’s encounter, he had scored in back- to - back matches against Modena and Bari.
Jerry Mbakogu was earlier linked with a departure from Carpi in the winter market.
But fresh reports out of Italy indicate that his suitors which include Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart will have to wait till June before signing him.
