Confirmed : Aliyu Abubakar To Pen Three - Year Deal With MS Ashdod On Thursday

Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm a report by SL10.ng that Nigeria youth international Aliyu Abubakar , 18,  is on the brink of a transfer to Israeli club MS Ashdod.

Having put himself in the shop window at the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup, the defender was courted by a clutch of clubs across Europe.

Aliyu Abubakar trained with Djurgardens IF, Anderlecht, Club Brugge and Racing Genk before trying his luck at Spanish teams Sevilla and Granada.

Now, the Muntunchi Football Academy product and his minders have agreed personal terms with MS Ashdod, and what remains before an official announcement is his signature.

The deal was brokered by influential Israeli agent Dudu Dahan, who has introduced several exciting Nigerian youngsters to the Israeli championship.
