Lola Phillips Returns To Confluence Queens
Former captain of Confluence Queens, Lola Phillips has returned to the club following a two-year spell with Federation Cup and Nigeria Women Premier League champions Rivers Angels.<br /><br />The former Makwada Queens, Delta Queens and Adamawa Queens forward joined Confluence Queens in 2010/11 and left after the 2011/12 season as the captain of the club.<br /><br />However, after two years of leaving the Wada Queens, Lola Phillips is back home.<br /><br />Media officer of the club, Ojo Tosin confirmed that the Kogi born striker has finally returned home to continue her promising football career.<br /><br />“We are happy to have Lola Phillips back to the club. She was once a captain and a vital player of the club for two seasons before she left for Rivers Angels. We hope she will continue from where she has stopped.” <br /><br />Loly Bright as she fondly called also promised to give her best to her darling state team. <br /><br />“I’m happy to return home and to the club I once captained, I promise to give all my best to this team to achieve more success. I will never let the management and the fans down in our quest for success,” she said.
