Oyo Media, SWAN Honour Frenage Academy As Dr. Ladipo Lauds Its Effort

In recognition of good and sincere services to the development of grassroots football in the country, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and a private media outfit, Green Carpet Media have honoured the foremost soccer school in the South/Western part of the country, Frenage International Soccer Academy with Sports Development Award and Pillar Sports Award respectively.
Oyo SWAN during its annual week celebration bestowed one of its distinguished honours (Sports Development Award) to grassroots football developer while Green Carpet at the Multi Purpose hall of Nigerian Union of Journalists bequeathed Oyo State Pillar of Sports Award on the CEO of Frenage, Prince Oluwole Ololade.
Speaking at the event, the President General, Nigerian Football and Other Sports Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo was full of commendations to the Ibadan based soccer school for its effort in building solid foundational base for the nation’s youngsters who are aspiring to take soccer as a means of livelihood.
Dr. Ladipo described the efforts of football academy, especially the standard ones like Frenage as pillar behind the future of the game we all loved most, saying “I must thank and commend you for investing in this aspect of the game which most people don’t know is the most important aspect”.
“If not for the efforts of firm like this there no way we can be sure of a secured future for our football and I’m happy that we have such good and standard academy in my town here in Ibadan, I will only urge you to keep the flag flying, the reward will surely come”, Ladipo noted.
While reacting, the CEO of the firm, Prince Ololade thanked members of the media for recognizing and identifying with the efforts of Frenage in reshaping Nigerian football at the grassroots, he however pledged not to rest on he’s oars until the lofty ideology of the academy to improve Nigerian football at the grassroots is realized.
