Olympic National Team invitee Sodiq Atanda, 21, could be internally disciplined by Apolonia Fier.
The Nigerian defender failed to turn up for the start of winter training, and it is unclear at this point if he was granted permission by the Albanian Superliga side.
According to Panorama Sport, Apolonia Fier have lost contact with Sodiq Atanda in recent days, with his mobile phone unavailable.
He is one of the four foreign - based professionals that has been included in the Dream Team squad for the All African Games qualifiers against Gabon.
Sodiq Atanda has appeared 14 times for Apolonia Fier this season in the League.
