Raphael Odogwu Set To Quit Real Vicenza
Published: January 18, 2015
Real Vicenza coach Michele Marcolini has admitted that the club could part with center forward Raphael Odogwu in the winter transfer market.
The 23 - year - old missed the tie with Alessandria on Saturday, fueling speculation that he is about to call time on his career with Real Vicenza.
“Raphael will likely leave the team and today was not here because of that. I wish him all the best because he is a great guy.
“Our market? I do not know. We’ll see if Odogwu is going away, there will still be room for something on offense.
’We evaluate and see calmly. Let’s say, for the quality that we are satisfied. Numerically, it would not hurt if we part with Odogwu,” manager Marcolini told reporters at a press conference.
Raphael Odogwu joined Real Vicenza last summer from Virtus Verona.
This season, the ex Chievo Verona striker has recorded 12 appearances in the division.
