Izunna Uzochukwu Not Leaving FC Midtjylland In The January Transfer Window
Published: January 22, 2015
FC Midtjylland will keep Izunna Uzochukwu on their payroll until at least this summer, when he is expected to come off contract.
Previously, there had been speculation linking the defensive midfielder with an exit from the MCH Arena this month, but FCM
sports director Claus Steinlein says he does not expect the Nigerian to change clubs.
“We have two good 6s in Tim Sparv and Izunna, and we need two players for each position in the spring, so I do not expect anything happens to him in January.
“Point is nothing happens, ” says Steinlein to bold.dk
Izunna Uzochukwu is credited with 166 first team appearances for FCM in his eight years at the club.
