Brown Ideye Heading To Hamburg On Loan - Sky Sports
Published: January 22, 2015
It is known that Bundesliga club Hamburg are in the market for offensive reinforcements, with the transfer window expected to shut in the next 11 days.
Ahead of the resumption of the League, Innocent Emeghara has been training with Hamburg, but the Imtech Arena outfit do not want to put their eggs in one basket, and are mulling over a move for West Brom striker Brown Ideye.
Sky Sports UK has reported that the Nigeria international is set to join Hamburg on loan until the end of the 2014 - 2015 campaign.
Since joining The Baggies from Dynamo Kiev this past summer, Brown Ideye has managed only one goal in the English Premier League.
And with new West Brom boss Tony Pulis eager to bolster his frontline, the 26 - year - old striker is likely to be sacrificed to make way for a potential recruit.
Brown Ideye has contractual obligations with West Brom until June 30, 2017.
