Official : Portuguese Club Varzim Sign Ejike Awurum

Portuguese third- tier side Varzim have snapped up Ejike Awurum on a six - month loan from from Mozambican side Chibuto.
Being a household name in Mozambique, the 23 - year - old did not have to undergo trials before he was offered a contract by The Sea Wolves.
Ejike Awurum was top scorer in the Mozambican second division, where his 22 goals ensured instant promotion for Chibuto two seasons ago.
He won the Dana Cup U-19 title in 2009, and was also top scorer with six goals.
The prolific striker will make his official debut for Varzim when the league resumes on February 15.
