Emmanuel Emenike Finds His Shooting Boots
Published: February 01, 2015
2013 African Cup of Nations Golden Boot winner Emmanuel Emenike has finally found his shooting boots.
The Nigeria international scored for Fenerbahce in their 2 - 1 win over Karabukspor on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig.
His 58th minute goal ended a goal drought, dating back to November 2, 2014, when he hit target against Besiktas in the Istanbul derby.
The 27 - year - old also found the back of the net against his old club in the first round fixture played last August.
Emmanuel Emenike may be experiencing a dip in form presently, but that has not diminished his conversion rate one bit, having averaged 0.49 goals per game since arriving Europe from Cape Town.
He has made the starting lineup 12 times this season, while he came off the bench in three other games.
