Official : Forest Green Rovers Defender Eddie Oshodi Retires From Football

23 - year - old Anglo - Nigerian defender Eddie Oshodi has announced his retirement from football.
The official website of Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers has reported that the former England youth international decided to call time on his career to concentrate on charitable works.
“I’d like to thank Eddie for all his efforts at Forest Green. It was a surprise decision for him to leave, the club and the fans will miss him, but we also respect his decision.
“Eddie always had a smile on his face and was a really nice lad, we wish him the very best in the future, whatever he chooses to do, ” manager Ady Pennock said to the official website, forestgreenroversfc.com.
A product of Watford, Oshodi also represented Dagenham & Redbridge and Rushden & Diamonds before hanging up his boots.
