Official : FC Tobol Snap Up Free Agent Uche Kalu

With a statement posted on the official website on Friday, Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Tobol have announced the signing of free agent Uche Kalu,27.
The Enyimba product has been searching for a new club since shredding his agreement with Rizespor at the end of the 2013 - 2014 season as a result of his lack of first team opportunities.
After a successful trial, FC Tobol, who won the Premier League in 2010, have rewarded Uche Kalu with a one - year deal that will keep him at the Central Stadium Kostanay until at least November 30, 2015.
Rizespor had loaned Kalu to Adanaspor in the second half of last season, and the attacking midfielder netted 2 goals in 14 games during his brief stint with the second - tier club.
Before agreeing terms with FC Tobol, he was offered to Portuguese club Nacional but the transfer did not come to pass.
