Odion Ighalo Named The Best Player In The Championship For January
Published: February 06, 2015
Watford marksman Odion Ighalo has been rewarded for his outstanding display in the month of January, after he was named the Championship PFA Fans Player of the Month winner for January.
The highlight of his performance during the period under review was scoring four goals in one match, which came against Blackpool on January 24.
And a week before that, the former Lyn Oslo and Granada star netted a brace in the 5 - 0 thrashing of Charlton Athletic.
“He is a quality player who works very hard. Since I arrived sometimes I use him or sometimes I don’t,” coach Slavisa Jokanovic told thepfa.com.
“However I use him, whether it is ten minutes, bringing him on at half time or starting him he always works like a professional, an adult man.”
Ighalo joined Watford at the start of the season from Udinese, Italy.
