Samuel Adegbenro Scores For Viking In Win Over AGF

In a friendly held in La Manga, Spain, new Viking signing Samuel Adegbenro netted for the Norwegian club in the 5 - 2 victory against AGF.

Coach Kjell Jonevret handed the young Nigerian forward a starting berth while compatriot Henry Osita Chikere started from the bench before his introduction 15 minutes from full time.

However, it was rookie striker Samuel Adegbenro who stole the show, with a goal in the 49th minute to bring the scoreline to 2 - 1 in favour of the Danish opponents thanks to a brace from Jeppe Kjær.

Jón Dadi Bödvarsson,  Steinthor Thorsteinsson and  Veton Berisha also registered their names on the scoresheet for Viking FK.

Samuel Adegbenro lasted 62 minutes on the pitch before making way for Steinthor Thorsteinsson.
