AAG Qualifier: Osho Backs Dream Team to beat Gabon
Published: February 20, 2015
Technical Adviser of Supreme Court FC Fatai Osho has predicted that Nigeria’s U-23 team will come out victorious when they confront Gabon in a crucial first leg of All Africa Games, AAG qualifier expected to take place in Libreville on Saturday.
Osho, whose player Sincere Seth will be among those expected to file out against their Gabonese counterparts expressed confidence in the ability of Coach Samson Siasia-led team to go ahead and book a place at the AAG scheduled to take place later this year in Congo Brazzaville.
“I have been opportune to watch the team play and with what I observed, they will not only make to All Africa Games, I believe they have what it takes to be at 2016 Olympic Games,” Fatai Osho said.
Head Coach of the team Samson Siasia had on Tuesday made public a 21-man list comprising players who will this weekend confront Gabon
Super Eagles Midfield maestro Kingsley Sokari and Arsenal U-21 Captain Alex Iwobi were top of several other players selected to be part of the encounter.
The Dream Team VI made up of 16 home and 5 foreign based professional players are already in Libreville where they trained on Friday.
