Dream Team Departs Gabon For Abuja

Players and officials of Nigeria’s Under 23 national team, The Dream Team, departed Libreville, venue of the All Africa Games qualifier against Gabon, for Abuja on Sunday afternoon.
Before the team departed Hotel Boulevard, coach Samson Siasia presented an autographed jersey signed by the players to Ambassador HE Archibong for his hospitality and being a father to the Nigeria delegation.
Indeed, Ambassador HE Archibong was their saving grace when they arrived Gabon on Thursday, with the host FA abandoning the team.
Nigeria will host Gabon at the National Stadium in Abuja in the return leg in two weeks time.
The Olympic National Team have not qualified for the All Africa Games since 2003.
