Frenage Academy Celebrates Golden Eaglets Chile Qualification

As the Nigeria U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, booked a place in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup scheduled for Chile, Frenage Soccer Academy has congratulated the Emmanuel Amuneke led technical crew .
The Ibadan based soccer school described the feat as a great source of motivation for every other youngster at the academy aspiring to play for the nation at the junior cadre.
This was stated in the statement issued in Ibadan by the academy and signed by the General Manager of the firm Akeem Ololade, where the academy urged Eaglets boys not to rest on their oars until they win the ongoing CAF Under-17 championships in Niger and bring the cup home.
The Nigerian youngsters who secured one of the four tickets allocated to Africa after they beat their Zambian counterparts 3-1 in their final group game would face South Africa in the semi-final in Niamey, Niger Republic on Wednesday.
The academy however warned Eaglets not going to underrate the South Africans, so that they don’t make that same mistake the team did against Guinea which nearly cost them dearly, appealing to Coach Amuneke to urge the boys to go all out against South Africa with their full strength.
“All our players, both that have been to the National U-17 camp and those that are aspiring for it were full of prayers for the success of the Eaglets’ outing in Niger and that was why they celebrated their qualification for World Cup so much in our camp here in Ibadan.
“The other expectation now is for Eaglets to bring the CAF Under-17 Championships Cup home”, the statement reads in part.
The 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup is scheduled for Chile beginning on 17 October till 8 November, 2015.
Meanwhile, the academy has however picked Saturday February 28th to unveil its new Coach, Babatunde Odubola popularly known as Zico who last worked with Shooting Stars to the public in an event scheduled for Frenage camp and headquarters, Alao-Akala way, Akobo Ibadan.
