Agent Annoyed By Rumours Linking Olarenwaju Kayode With Maccabi Netanya Exit
Published: February 24, 2015
Scoutpush, the Israeli agency that manages the affairs of Olarenwaju Kayode, has distanced itself from reports linking the Maccabi Netanya striker with a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
In a bid to balance their books, The Diamonds are reportedly in talks with a number of clubs in Israel, and the plan is to sell him now for a fee of around 900,000 euros ahead of the summer transfer market.
“Larry didn’t sign with any club until the end of the season! Larry has stated more than once that his ambitions and desire to play in Europe, so far as we are concerned there is no possibility of any club , let alone in Israel at the height of the 2014/15 season.
“In addition, notwithstanding the financial debts of Maccabi Netanya, Larry is very committed and loves the Club and the city, and especially the fans.
“He wants to help the Club to fulfill all the professionalism until the end of the season,” Scoutpush said in a statement.
Olarenwaju Kayode has contractual obligations with Maccabi Netanya until the end of next season.
