Christian Obiozor Joins Olympic National Team Ahead Gabon Clash
Published: March 02, 2015
Kano Pillars striker Christian Obiozor , 20, has put the disappointment of not scoring in last weekend’s CAF Champions League tie against Malaika behind him.
The Fame Academy product is aware that strikers do have their off days, and he is fully focused for the next game, but he won’t be wearing the colours of the Nigeria champions.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Obiozor arrived Abuja late Monday morning to begin training with the Olympic National Team, ahead of the return leg of the All Africa Games qualifier against Gabon.
Warri Wolves star Etebo Oghenekaro is expected to resume training as well today, having been released by coach Samson Siasia to feature for his team in the CAF Confederation Cup game with FC Robo.
The Nigeria Under 23s won the first leg AAG tie 4 - 1, and will play Zambia in the next round if they get the desired result against Gabon.
