Ahmed Musa Has The Weight Of CSKA Moscow On His Shoulders

CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky has admitted that the club tried to sign an experienced striker in the January transfer window without success.
And the manager has acknowledged that Nigeria international Ahmed Musa will have to take most of the goalscoring responsibilities in the second half of the season.
“We tried to buy another striker, more older than Strandberg and Aliyev, but ultimately did not happen.
“In winter to buy a footballer of the desired class in general is very difficult. While Musa - virtually the only option in attack. But we hope the progress of young forwards,” said Leonid Slutsky to sport - express.ru.
The Muscovites were linked with Guangzhou R&F starlet Aaron Samuel before the close of the transfer window.
