Published: March 11, 2015
Newly signed striker Damilola Koku has revealed she is fully ready for a fresh challenge at Confluence Queens
Koku who joined the Wada Queens from Sunshine Queens this season insists that challenges only bring out the best in players
“I’m fully ready for the challenges ahead of me this season, I know its not easy because am just coming in from a new club, but I will try best to gain position at the club .”
The tall and lanky striker will have to battle the likes of Chioma Wogu and Lola Phlipps in the striking role.
“I’m aware of the competition ahead and I can assure you that I’m fully ready.
“I know my quality but I will also need to work harder because Chioma and Lola are also good strikers.
“All we need to do is to contribute our quota to help the team finish second to none in the league,” she said
