Anthony Ujah And Leon Balogun Jet Off To Nigeria
Published: March 22, 2015
Cologne striker Anthony Ujah departed Germany on Sunday along with fellow Nigeria international Leon Balogun for the Super Eagles upcoming friendlies against Uganda and South Africa.
If there are no last minute changes to their traveling schedule, both players will practice with the Nigeria squad on Monday as they are expected to arrive the training camp today.
Before his invitation for the March friendlies, Ujah had been omitted from the Super Eagles rosters for the last two years, with his last game in a Nigeria jersey coming against Tahiti at the Fifa Confederations Cup.
On the other hand, Leon Balogun spent one year in the international wilderness before this recent call - up.
Ujah and Balogun were both in action for their respective clubs this weekend.
