Unsung before the African Youth Championship, Akinjide Idowu was one of the Flying Eagles standout players in Senegal, featuring in every single game contested by the recently crowned African champions at Under 20 level.
Udinese posted a scout to run the rule over the 18 - year - old in Senegal, and he was impressed with the quality of the central midfielder.
