Published: April 02, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Tunisia powerhouse Esperance have reached an agreement with Shuttle Sports Academy over the transfer of Bernard Bulbwa after a successful medical.
After close to two days of negotiations, The Blood and Gold finally agreed terms with representatives of the Flying Eagles midfielder on Thursday evening.
The 18 - year - old has penned a five - year contract with Esperance, which will start running on July 1, 2015.
Technically, this is a preliminary contract for the simple reason that the transfer window closed in Tunisia on January 15, 2015, and will remain shut until June 30.
Including agency commission, Bulbwa’s wages and compensation to the player’s nursery team, Esperance have agreed to pay $1.2 million , with Shuttle Sports Academy’s domiciliary account set to be credited with $0.2 million or 16.67 % of the total transfer package.
Esperance were smart in negotiations as they lured Bernard Bulbwa and his camp to Tunisia, after promising to part with $2.5 million, but they will part with only half of that sum at the end of the day.
