Liverpool Forward Asisat Oshoala Is Not In Abuja For Sightseeing
Published: April 04, 2015Liverpool striker Asisat Oshoala will be the main novelty at Super Falcons training session on Saturday, ahead of their vital All Africa Games qualifier against Mali next week.
The top female footballer in Africa arrived in Abuja on Friday at 2015 hours to the warm embrace of teammates, officials and coaches.
“I am overwhelmed by the welcome given to me by my team mates and officials,” said Oshoala to thenff.com.
“And I must confess that I have missed them so much and I cannot wait to train with them again as we plot how to beat Mali.
“I am not here for jokes but for the business of beating Mali and securing All Africa Games ticket.
“I want to help the team win and does not matter whether I score so long as we win and qualify. ”
In addition to Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie of En Avant de Guingamp (Ladies) is expected to hit camp as from Sunday.
