Those That Aided Disappearance Of Musa Mohammed From Dream Team Camp To Face The Music
Published: April 09, 2015
The Nigeria Football Federation is unhappy over the disappearance of defender Musa Mohammed from the camp of the Dream Team VI ahead of their trip to Lusaka.
Coach Samson Siasia announced his 18 - man squad on Wednesday and eyebrows were raised when the Flying Eagles skipper was omitted, only for it to emerge that he absconded from camp to undergo tests with a foreign club.
“It will be an understatement for me to say the Nigeria Football Federation is disappointed by the behavior of Musa Muhammed.
“The player had been drafted to the U-23 team because the coach believes he has something to contribute to bring glory to the nation.
“Whoever is found to be culpable in this shameful act will be punished,”NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, told thenff.com.
Musa Mohammed led the Nigeria Under 20s to a seventh African title in Senegal last month.
