Edward Ofere Happy To Score Against Celtic
Published: April 11, 2015Edward Ofere was happy to get back to scoring ways as Inverness CT shared the spoils with champions Glasgow Celtic in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
Leigh Griffiths opened scoring for The Bhoys in the third minute before Ofere restored parity for Inverness CT a minute later.
“It was a great game, the result was fair. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, ” Eddie Ofere told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Having come back from a goal down just immediately was brilliant.
“Both teams had a fair chance in the second half but it was fantastic to score against Celtic.”
Ofere and his teammates will attempt to qualify for the final of the Scottish Cup when they face Celtic at Hampden Park a week on Sunday.
The Swedish - Nigerian has scored in every game he has started since his transfer to Inverness CT late February.
