Shimizu S-Pulse Striker Peter Utaka Scores 38th Goal Since Moving To Asia

On match day five in the J1 League, Peter Utaka used it to open his goalscoring account for Shimizu S-Pulse , whom he joined in the winter transfer market as a free agent.
While the Super Eagles forward may be celebrating his first goal for Shimizu S-Pulse , he won’t be pleased with the outcome of the game as his club lost for the third time this season.
Utaka scored in the 56th minute to bring the scoreline to 2 - 1 before Genki Omae equalized 8 minutes later, but Takashi Usami struck the match winner 10 minutes from time.
So far, Peter Utaka has suited up two times for Shimizu S-Pulse, with 134 minutes of game time under his belt.
To date, the 31 - year - old has scored 38 goals in 81 matches since he moved to Asia from OB Odense in 2012.
