Samson Siasia Appeals To NFF To Organize Friendly Games Ahead Of AAG
Published: April 13, 2015
Dream Team coach, Samson Siasia, has stated that he was confident that his wards will qualify for the All Africa Games even after their goalless draw with Zambia in Abuja last month.
The Nigeria Under 23s defeated their Zambian counterparts 2 - 1 at the Heroes Stadium on Sunday to book their ticket to the AAG.
The official website of the Nigeria Football Federation has reported that the qualification for the AAG football event is of great significance to him as he has never qualified for the games.
Samson Siasia is appealing to the Federation to organize more tune- up games for his team ahead of the competition in Congo - Brazzaville and the Olympic Games qualifiers.
United Academy forward Taiwo Awoniyi, who was one of the Flying Eagles stars drafted into the squad, justified his inclusion by bagging a brace either side of the half.
