Eniola Aluko To Challenge Chelsea Teammate, Four Others For PFA Accolade
Published: April 16, 2015Eniola Aluko has been recognized for her outstanding season with Chelsea, with the PFA shortlisting her for the prestigious Women’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
The 28 - year - old has to see off competition from fellow Chelsea player Ji So-Yun as well as Lucy Bronze, Karen Carney, Jess Clark and Kelly Smith.
There is no Nigerian interest in other categories, with the likes of Brown Ideye and Jordon Ibe snubbed for the Player of the Year award and Young Player of the Year award respectively.
Eniola Aluko, who is in her third season with Chelsea, has amassed 90 caps for England since she made her debut against Holland 11 years ago.
She was named the Young Player of the Year by the English FA back in 2003.
