African Champions Super Falcons GOOD Enough To Launch Nike Kits
Published: April 29, 2015
The Super Falcons have the honour of being the first Nigerian team to don the Nike jersey, the Nigeria Football Federation has disclosed through official channels.
The African champions will sport the jersey when they take on Mali in an Olympic Games qualifier on May 9.
“I urge you to be disciplined and desist from acts that will bring problem between NIKE, our new kit sponsors and the Federation.
“I must say here that one of the problems we had with Adidas was because some players were not respecting the terms of the contract.
“I urge you to assist the NFF in every contract we enter into,” NFF’s Dr. Mohammed Sanusi said.
The General Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation made the disclosure when he visited the Falcons at the FIFA Technical Centre, Abuja training pitch earlier this week.
