<font size="3">The injury suffered by ex Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero last weekend in the league game between Viborg and AC Horsens is not as bad as first feared. <br /><br />Gero had to be substituted in the 67th minute at the CASA Arena, but has received encouraging news from Viborg<span class="body1">&rsquo;s</span> medical team.<br /><br />&ldquo;Gero got himself a bruised thigh, which kept him out of Monday<span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>s workout, but Tuesday he was back on the field with the rest of the team again, and expected to be ready for Thursday<span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>s home game against Vejle,&rdquo; Viborg said in a statement.<br /><br />The 21 - year - old has made eight appearances in the Danish First Division but is still searching for his first goal .<br /><br />Gero penned a three - year contract with Viborg in the January transfer window.</font><br /><br /><br />
