Alhaji Gero Declared Fit To Face Vejle After Injury Scare

The injury suffered by ex Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero last weekend in the league game between Viborg and AC Horsens is not as bad as first feared.
Gero had to be substituted in the 67th minute at the CASA Arena, but has received encouraging news from Viborg’s medical team.
“Gero got himself a bruised thigh, which kept him out of Monday’s workout, but Tuesday he was back on the field with the rest of the team again, and expected to be ready for Thursday’s home game against Vejle,” Viborg said in a statement.
The 21 - year - old has made eight appearances in the Danish First Division but is still searching for his first goal .
Gero penned a three - year contract with Viborg in the January transfer window.
