Super Eagles star John Obi Mikel starred for Chelsea as The Blues clinched the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon on the back of their 1 - 0 win against fellow Londoners Crystal Palace.<br /><br />Needing to shore up his midfield after going 1 - 0 up, manager Jose Mourinho introduced Mikel at the start of the second half, replacing Juan Cuadrado with the Nigeria international. <br /><br />The Stamford Bridge side have now won the EPL title two times since the arrival of Mikel from Lyn Oslo in 2006.<br /><br />Having played a total of 15 games in the top flight this season, the defensive midfielder qualifies for a Premier League medal.<br /><br />In recent weeks, the 28 - year - old has been linked with possible moves to Southampton and Real Madrid.<br /><br />Photo Credit : Twitter<br />
