In Major League Soccer, Obafemi Martins netted a brace and created an assist to help Seattle Sounders defeat New York City FC 3 - 1 at Yankee Stadium.
Following his pair of goals on Sunday night, the former Nigeria international has now scored 7 braces since his arrival in the United Stated from Levante in 2013.

“I think it’s just automatic, really. It’s what we do in training,” Martins said according to mlssoccer.com.
“For us, we just need the ball so we can do something different with it. We did tonight.
“ I’m glad that I scored and he scored too. As a team we did very well.”
