KuPS Striker Francis Chibuike Nearing Match Fitness

KuPS striker Francis Chibuike is making good progress on his road to recovery after being on the sidelines for close to three months.
Team medics plus coach Marco Rajamäki will ascertain his fitness when KuPS take on city rivals KuFu SC-98 in a friendly on Thursday night beginning from 1900 hours.
“I’m currently 90 percent fit to play. On Thursday, I get valuable game experience, on Saturday I join the league team, and next week I go on the road in Seinäjoki and Rovaniemi.
“Tomorrow (Today) I am supposed to play 45 minutes,” Francis Chibuike told the official website of KuPS, kups.fi.
Last season, the 21 - year - old wore the KuPS jersey 21 times in the Veikkausliiga, scoring 5 goals.
