Skipper Musa Mohammed Confident Flying Eagles Will Win World Cup
Published: May 11, 2015
Flying Eagles skipper Musa Mohammed has been previewing the upcoming Fifa Under 20 World Cup, and the right back is confident that the national team will be crowned world champions come June.
Mohammed is basing his argument on the fact that majority of the players that will be on the plane to New Zealand previously starred for the Nigeria Under 17s in 2013, winning the competition staged in United Arab Emirates.
“Yes, we can do it again. We will not disappoint the millions of fans back in Nigeria who have so much confidence in this team.
“We have trained very hard, we are focused, we have the quality and we are ready to make history again.
“We will give everything to win the World Cup in New Zealand,” Musa Mohammed told thenff.com.
In their bid to qualify for the knock out rounds and win the trophy, the Flying Eagles must first conquer Brazil, North Korea and Hungary.
