After creating havoc in England’s Under 17s Group D fixture at the ongoing European Championship, Fulham left - back Tayo Edun is optimistic that the young Three Lions will top their group.
Going into the game on Wednesday against Republic of Ireland, John Peacock charges lead their group with four points, one more than Italy, who they beat in their opening match.
“We have to finish the job now by beating Ireland and we are a confident we can do that,” Tayo Edun told thefa.com.
“It’s all positive in the squad, we want to go and get a win on Wednesday and guarantee top spot.
“We don’t want to rely on any other people, and we want to remain unbeaten. We want other teams to know we topped the group.”
