Exclusive : Red Bull Continue To Thrash Out Terms With Taiwo Awoniyi

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Red Bull Salzburg have continued their pursuit of the rave - of - the - moment Taiwo Awoniyi with a view to joining them in the summer.

The Flying Eagles striker has been on the radar of the eight - time Austrian champions since he was scouted by their representative during the African Youth Championship, where he notched three goals to finish as the second top scorer at the tourney.

It would be misinformation to say there is no stumbling block in the proposed deal as the Nigeria Football Federation is yet to decide the legitimate party that owns his registration and economic rights.

No matter the outcome of the ruling, Red Bull Salzburg’s plan is to pay compensation to Kalmar, with the Swedish club already  investing close to 50,000 Euros on Taiwo Awoniyi.
