Olarenwaju Kayode will not have the opportunity to bid farewell to the supporters of Maccabi Netanya on the pitch before severing ties with The Diamonds at the end of this season.
According to reports in Israel, the Flying Eagles striker has been omitted from the squad that will tackle Hapoel Haifa in the Premier League on Saturday.
For transfer market observers, it means his transfer to Austria Vienna is imminent and Maccabi Netanya want to prevent him from getting injured.
That said, Kayode is in good physical condition and is expected to pass his medical examination in the Austrian capital with flying colours.
The 22 - year - old arrived Israel in 2013 from Heartland of Owerri, and since then he has recorded 55 appearances in the league, scoring 23 goals.
