Izunna Uzochukwu : FC Midtjylland Deserve To Win The Championship
Published: May 18, 2015
Following their 2 - 0 win over FC Copenhagen on Sunday, FC Midtjylland are not mathematically assured of winning the Danish Superliga title but the Jutland outfit need just one point from their remaining four games to be crowned champions.
Izunna Uzochukwu , 25, is relieved that The Wolves did not throw away their lead like they did last season when they topped the table until the title run - in.
“We have been waiting for a long time, and it is very pleasing that we have settled this now and not to wait until the final match.
“It is clearly the best FCM team ever, although there have been many good teams. We are strong both on and off the field.
“We have a really good team and it is deserved, we win the championship,” Izunna Uzochukwu told bold.dk.
The defensive midfielder will not play in the next edition of the Champions League if FCM win the title as expected as he becomes a free agent at the end of next month.
Izunna Uzochukwu has been on the books of the MCH Arena outfit for the past nine years.
